Mind/body/spirit complex

Ra's term for an individuated self-aware being — a "complex" of distortions of mind, body, and spirit rather than a simple unit.

What Ra means

Ra does not say "person" or "soul." It says mind/body/spirit complex, because such a being is not a simple thing but a bundle of distortions across three inseparable facets: mind, body, and spirit. The word complex carries weight: each facet is itself a system of distortions layered through incarnation and experience, never a clean or finished thing.

The three-part structure marks a threshold in creation. Second-density beings are mind/body complexes; they cross into third density when awareness of self or other-self stirs the spirit into activity. Ra locates this crossing at the point when second-density forms become self-aware and enter third density — the first density of consciousness of spirit (13.21). Spirit is what completes the complex and opens the entity to the possibility of polarity.

Each complex processes catalyst in its own irreducibly particular way. No two carry the same biases, the same pre-incarnational programs, or the same rhythms of activation across their seven energy centers (48.7). This uniqueness is part of what makes the complex valuable: it is, in the deepest sense, the Creator exploring Itself from one unrepeatable vantage. The three facets — mind, body, spirit — are treated elsewhere as distinct concepts, but Ra always insists they function as one inseparable being. The same entity, viewed across time, appears as self, higher self, and mind/body/spirit complex totality — three points in a circle, Ra says, distinguished only by the time/space continuum (37.6). Viewed in community, entities may grow into a social memory complex, all experience of each available to the whole (47.2).

The spirit enters at the threshold of third density:

The second density strives towards the third density, which is the density of self-consciousness, or self-awareness. The striving takes place through the higher second-density forms who are invested by third-density beings with an identity to the extent that they become self-aware mind/body complexes, thus becoming mind/body/spirit complexes and entering third density, the first density of consciousness of spirit.

Each mind/body/spirit complex has its own patterns of activation and its own rhythms of awakening. The important thing for harvest is the harmonious balance between the various energy centers of the mind/body/spirit complex.

Higher self, present self, and totality are three points in one circle of time:

The higher self is a manifestation given to the late sixth-density mind/body/spirit complex as a gift from its future selfness. The mid-seventh density’s last action before turning towards the allness of the Creator and gaining spiritual mass is to give this resource to the sixth-density self, moving, as you measure time, in the stream of time.

This self, the mind/body/spirit complex of late sixth density, has then the honor/duty of using both the experiences of its total living bank, or memory, of experienced thoughts and actions and using the resource of the mind/body/spirit complex totality left behind as a type of infinitely complex thought-form.

In this way you may see your self, your higher self or oversoul, and your mind/body/spirit complex totality as three points in a circle. The only distinction is that of your time/space continuum. All are the same being.
