The Ra Cosmos — Beings & Worlds

Ra describes not an abstract metaphysics but a populated cosmos — alliances of consciousness, named beings who walked among humanity, and worlds with histories. This is the catalog of those proper names: the cosmic groups that govern and contend over Earth, the individual beings Ra identifies (including itself), and the worlds and places that carry the deep history of the third-density experiment. Each entry stays close to what Ra actually says, cited by exchange id. Where a fuller treatment exists, the entry links to its concept page.

Cosmic hierarchy & groups

The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator — Approximately fifty-three civilizations comprising approximately five hundred planetary consciousness complexes: a true Confederation in that its members are not alike, but allied in service according to the Law of One, containing those of Earth who have attained dimensions beyond the third, planetary entities within this solar system, and planetary entities from other galaxies (6.24). Unlike the Orion group, the Confederation waits for the calling (8.12). Each entity wishing to appear to Earth's peoples requests permission to break quarantine; there have been as many as fifteen Confederation entities in the skies at one time (6.25). When a member sees a situation and has an idea for appropriate aid, it lays the project before the Council of Saturn, and if it is approved, quarantine is lifted (7.8). See Confederation.

The Council of Saturn — The Council is located in the octave, or eighth dimension, of the planet Saturn, in an area understood in third-dimensional terms as the rings (6.8). Its members are representatives from the Confederation and from the inner-plane vibratory levels responsible for Earth's third density; nine sit in constant session, backed by twenty-four entities who offer their services as requested (7.9). Its duties include admitting social memory complexes to the Confederation, offering aid to those unsure how to aid, and deciding internal questions (7.9). Contact projects go before it for approval: Ra laid its plan to walk among the Egyptians as brothers before the Council (23.6), and thought-level Confederation contacts follow the same route (53.3). The Guardians — Ra uses the name in two settings. The twenty-four entities who back the Session Council, faithfully watching, are the ones Ra says have been called the Guardians (7.9). At harvest, the group Ra calls the Guardians comes from the octave above Ra's own and provides the precise emissions of light/love so that the exact light/love vibration of each entity may be ascertained against the violet ray (51.1). The Guardians also keep the quarantine: they sweep the reaches of Earth's energy fields, and an approaching entity is hailed in the name of the One Creator and of free will obeys, due to the power of the Law of One (12.5). The net is not perfect — an entity slipping through it penetrates the quarantine (12.3). This "light quarantine" of the Guardians, or gardeners, was intensified after the genetic aid given to the Mars transfer was seen as an infringement upon free will (21.8). See Guardians.

The Orion group — Its purpose is conquest: unlike those of the Confederation who wait for the calling, the so-called Orion group calls itself to conquest (8.12). Its objective is to locate mind/body/spirit complexes that resonate with its own vibration and to enslave the un-elite, those not of the Orion vibration (8.14). It prefers to work through entities of this planet, since a mass landing would create a loss of polarization through infringement on the planet's free will (16.9). Its densities are varied, and its numbers are perhaps one-tenth of the Confederation's, since the problem of spiritual entropy causes it constant disintegration of its social memory complexes (7.15). The philosophy it serves is the ever-expanding use of the energies of others for manipulation to the benefit of the self with distortion towards power (11.31). See Orion group.

The Logos / sub-Logos — Ra names the focus of infinity into infinite energy "Logos" or "Love": the Creator is the focusing of infinity as an aware or conscious principle (13.7). With the primal distortion of free will, each galaxy developed its own Logos, which has complete free will in determining the paths of intelligent energy (19.12). A Logos may create a single star system or billions of them — the source of confusion in the term "galaxy" (28.7). Our sun is a sub-Logos (29.1); it differentiated experiential components within the patterns of intelligent energy set in motion by its Logos (29.2). See Logos · sub-Logos.

Social memory complexes — Not planned by any Logos: the distortion of free will causes the social memory complex to appear as a possibility at a certain stage of the evolution of mind (47.2). When a group of mind/body/spirits becomes able to form one, all experience of each entity is available to the whole, and the Creator thereby knows more of Its creation (47.2). Ra describes itself as a social memory complex (1.5), and speaks of the social memory complexes which comprise the Orion group (7.15). See social memory complex.

Beings & individuals

Ra — Ra gives its identity as the vibration Ra: a social memory complex that made contact with the Egyptians, while others of its density made contact at the same time in South America (1.5). Ra locates itself beyond the polarities — those who are of the Law of One, in whose vibration the polarities are harmonized — and says it has walked the earth, serving with varying success in transmitting the Law of One (1.1). Ra experienced the densities upon Venus, with harmonious graduations and a greatly accelerated fourth-density experience, then spent much time in fifth density balancing the intense compassion gained in fourth — a harmony Ra calls a grievous source of naïveté in working with Earth (41.26). It is no longer of Venus (6.23). When the priests and peoples of Egypt distorted its message, Ra removed itself from the now hypocritical position in which it had allowed itself to be placed (1.5), and it remains in the capacity of removing the distortions given to the Law of One until the cycle is appropriately ended (1.1). The contact itself is a narrow-band vibration (1.0).

Yahweh — Of the Confederation, but mistaken in its attempts to aid (18.23). Its communications came three ways: genetic, then walking among the peoples to produce further genetic changes in consciousness, then a series of dialogues with chosen channels (18.14). The Yahweh group worked with those of the planet Mars 75,000 years ago in the cloning process (18.20). By genetic cloning Yahweh had set up biases of specialness among peoples who came to dwell near Egypt, and about 3,600 years ago the Orion group found in this a fertile soil in which to plant the seeds of elitism, impressing upon those peoples the name Yahweh as the one responsible (24.6). The old Yahweh, now unnamed, began sending positively oriented philosophy approximately 3,300 years ago (24.6). Still seeking to raise up entities superior to the negative forces, the entity came among the people in incarnate form and mated in the normal reproductive manner, birthing a generation of much larger beings, called "Anak" (24.9). The results were mixed: where entities embraced oneness the aid was very useful, but elsewhere the Orion group was able for the first time to make serious inroads upon the planetary consciousness (18.24). The Ark of the Covenant, Ra notes, was designed not by Yahweh but by negative entities preferring a method of creating an elite, the Sons of Levi (60.17).

The one known as Jesus of Nazareth — In Ra's accounting this entity did not have a name: a member of fifth density, of the highest level of that sub-octave, who desired to enter this planetary sphere to share the love vibration in as pure a manner as possible, received permission for the mission, and was then a wanderer of no name, of Confederation origins (17.11). In incarnation it learned by a natural kind of remembering — discovering its power when it fatally wounded a playmate in anger, and determining from then on to use that energy only for the good (17.19). Of the expected "return," Ra says the entity itself will not return except as a Confederation member occasionally speaking through a channel; it is those of the identical congruency of consciousness who will welcome entities to fourth density (17.22). Edgar Cayce — Ra is categorical: no entity spoke through Edgar Cayce (14.31). Cayce used the gateway whereby intelligent infinity is brought into intelligent energy from the octave to view not this continuum but the potential social memory complex of the planetary sphere — that which Earth's peoples have called the Akashic Record, or Hall of Records (14.32).

Adolf Hitler — Ra's example of over-hasty polarization: one who attempted activation of the highest rays of energy while lacking the green-ray key, and so canceled itself out as to polarization; the entity was basically negative, but its confusion was such that the personality disintegrated, leaving the mind/body/spirit complex unharvestable and much in need of healing (35.4). Of those subordinate to it, Ra names two who may be harvestable in the negative sense: the one known as Hermann, and the one who preferred to be called Himmler (35.5).

Wanderers — The Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow: entities from all reaches of the infinite creation, bound together by the desire to serve, who move toward the calling of sorrow (12.26). Few are of fourth density; the largest number are of the sixth, and their challenge and danger is to forget the mission, become karmically involved, and be swept into the maelstrom (12.28). The positively oriented wanderer hazards the forgetting because, if the forgetting is penetrated, third-density catalyst polarizes the wanderer with much greater efficiency than the higher densities allow (36.17). Their aims are to serve however requested, and to lighten the planetary vibration as a whole (65.11). A significant portion of sixth-density wanderers are of Ra's own social memory complex; other large portions are of those who aided South America and those who aided Atlantis (45.4). See wanderer.

The fifth-density negative "companion" — Fifth density is the density of light, or wisdom, and the negative entity there is at a high level of awareness, has ceased activity except by thought, and is extraordinarily compacted and separated from all else (25.11). A specific such entity pursued and greeted the Ra contact in its later sessions. Its polarity eventually approached a critical point: retreat for the nonce and leave the greetings to fourth-density minions, or lose polarity (86.5). Thereafter it no longer accompanied the group — though Ra notes it was not resting (88.3) — and came to work within its own density exclusively while a fourth-density league of companions remained (90.2). A positive fifth-density entity would transmit on the same frequency, which is why the Confederation welcomes the challenging and questioning of all contacts (89.6).

Worlds & places

Maldek — A third-density planet of this solar system whose people destroyed their planetary sphere (6.10). Their civilization resembled Atlantis in gaining technology and using it without care for the preservation of their sphere; the devastation came of war, approximately 705,000 years ago, and left the survivors in a social complex knot, or tangle, of fear that none could reach (10.1). None escaped the planetary dissolution (10.7). About 600,000 years ago the Confederation was able to deploy a social memory complex to untie the knot; the entities were nurtured and healed, and by group decision took on a karma-alleviating incarnation upon Earth in what were not acceptable human forms, beginning approximately 500,000 years ago (10.1). Their consciousness has always been third-density; the alleviation mechanism placed it in second-dimensional physical complexes not able to be dexterous enough for third-density workings (10.3). Ra says they dwell within Earth's deeper underground passageways and are known as "Bigfoot" (9.18). Earth's first calling was theirs, approximately 46,000 years ago (21.16).

Mars (the Red Planet) — The first third-density entities on Earth were brought from Mars when that planet's environment became inhospitable to third-density beings (9.6). The race is a combination of the Red Planet's mind/body/spirit complexes and a careful series of genetic adjustments made by the Guardians of that time, preserved for Earth by a non-reproductive type of birthing (9.7). Perhaps half of Earth's early third-density population was Martian, a quarter from Earth's own second density, and a quarter from other sources (20.20). The genetic aid, though done in a desire to help, was seen as an infringement upon free will, and the light quarantine was intensified because of it (21.8). The Yahweh group's cloning work with those of Mars came 75,000 years ago (18.20). Mars itself was stopped in mid-third density and, Ra says, shall be undergoing healing for some millennia (30.14).

Venus — The sphere Ra calls its native Earth: a planetary sphere of rapid evolution, owed to harmonious interaction among the complexes on its surface (30.14). Ra graduated harmoniously through its densities there, with a greatly accelerated fourth-density experience (41.26). Venus became a fourth-density planet (89.10), later a fourth/fifth-density planet, and then a fifth-density planet for a large measure of time (89.11). The concept of the tarot originated within the planetary influence of Venus (88.13): it was devised by Venus's third-density population, a great measure of space/time in the past, as a training aid in developing the magical personality (88.14). The present Venus population is no longer sixth-density (6.23).

Lemuria / Mu — With Atlantis, one of two distinct civilizations, not one: the Mu entities were beings of a somewhat primitive nature but with very advanced spiritual distortions, flourishing approximately 53,000 years ago in a helpful and harmless place that was washed beneath the ocean by a tectonic readjustment through no action of their own (10.15). The survivors reached many places in what are now Russia, North America, and South America, and the Indians are the descendants of these entities; the Lemurians themselves were largely drawn from a second-density planet of the galaxy Deneb whose aging sun made third-density conditions difficult (10.15). Those of Lemurian background continued their learn/teachings from South America onward through the Americas (21.24).

Atlantis — A very conglomerate social complex that began to form approximately 31,000 years ago and grew slowly and agrarian until roughly 15,000 years ago, when it reached quickly a high technological understanding, manipulated the influxes of the indigo ray, and began to create life forms instead of healing and perfecting its own complexes, turning toward the negative (10.15). The first war, about 11,000 years ago, took roughly forty percent of the population; the second and most devastating conflict, 10,821 years in the past, inundated the greater part of Atlantis, three positively oriented groups having left beforehand for Tibet, Peru, and Turkey (10.15). Confederation entities had appeared to philosophically prepared Atlanteans around the time Ra first appeared over Egypt, passing information having to do with crystals, pyramids, and temples of training (22.21). The escalations ended with what Ra describes as nuclear bombs and other crystal weapons, the last great land masses sinking approximately 9,600 years ago (24.4). In Atlantis, unlike Ra's solitary initiations, teachers shared the pyramid experiences (57.28).

Egypt — Ra came, 11,000 years ago, to one of two planetary cultures then closely in touch with the creation of the One Creator, attempting to teach/learn by direct contact and aiding with healing technology through the crystal — thus were the pyramids created (2.2). The plan to walk among the Egyptians as brothers was approved by the Council of Saturn, and the Great Pyramid was formed by thought approximately 6,000 years ago (23.6). The larger pyramids were built by Ra's ability using the forces of One — their stones, Ra says, are alive — for two purposes: a properly oriented place of initiation for channels of the Law of One, and the careful guiding of initiates in healing (2.4); the pyramids Ra thought/built were constructed from thought-forms created by its social memory complex (3.11). An Eighteenth-Dynasty pharaoh — a wanderer who took the name Akhenaten in honor of the sun disc — became convinced that the vibration of One was the true spiritual vibration and decreed the Law of One, but his priests gave lip service only, and after his death the polarized beliefs in the many gods came into their own (2.2). The technology, meanwhile, had been reserved largely for those distorted toward power — not, Ra says, what the Law of One intended — and Ra left the Egyptian peoples (2.2). One stream of the tarot descends from these priests: attempting to teach the Law of One, they gave distorted form to what they had received, later melded with the astrological methods of Ur, Chaldea, and Mesopotamia (76.6).

The "lost cities" of South America — Others from Ra's density made contact in South America at the same time as the Egyptian contact, and the so-called lost cities were their attempts to contribute to the Law of One (1.5). Ra divided its forces to work within these two cultures (60.15). The South American entities worshiped the sun and were visited by light beings whose instructions were more accepted and less distorted than Ra's; they began a series of underground and hidden cities, including pyramid structures intended for all people — places of meditation and rest — not only for initiates and healing (23.16). After the plans grew distorted, the helping social memory complex went before the Council of Saturn to correct the errors in person, but the teachings were in later times grossly perverted, to the extent of actual human sacrifice, and that complex too remains until the distortions are worked out (23.16). In the second major cycle a great vibratory distortion toward love grew in South America, and those entities were harvestable without ever having formed strong social or technological complexes (21.28). In South America, as in Atlantis, teachers shared the pyramid experiences (57.28).

Earth / the spheres — An immigrant world: perhaps half of the early third-density population came from Mars, a quarter from Earth's own second density, and a quarter from other planetary spheres (20.20). It is somewhat unusual for a planetary complex to contain those from many, many various loci, and Ra says this explains much of the difficulty in unifying the planet's orientation (10.6). Entities also come through the process of harvest and are incarnated through Earth's higher spheres within the density (6.11). The quarantine is a balancing of dimensional variances: the free will of the Orion group is not stopped but given a challenge, while the third-density group is not hindered from free choice (16.2). The sphere is at this time in fourth-dimension vibration, its material confused due to the social memory complexes embedded in its consciousness — it will, Ra says, be fetched with some inconvenience (6.16).
