Unity
The recognition that in an Infinite Creator there is only One — many-ness is a finite concept, and separation is a distortion of the underlying identity.
What Ra means
Unity is the bedrock of the whole teaching, and Ra approaches it with a near-mathematical argument: that which is infinite cannot be many, because many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity at all, it must be identified as unity; otherwise the term has no referent (). What follows from this is that the seeker is not a part of the creation but is every thing, every being, every emotion, every event — the whole of it (). Unity is not a metaphor for closeness; it is a claim about identity.
At the most abstract level, unity is what Ra means by intelligent infinity: there is unity, it is all that there is, and it has both a potential and kinetic aspect (). The potential is intelligent infinity itself; the kinetic, once tapped by a distortion of free will, is what Ra calls intelligent energy. Everything in the creation flows from this one source. The first paradox to enter was finity — when the undivided One discerned the concept of manyness and invested itself in its exploration (). That exploration is the whole of the creation.
Within sixth density, Ra describes the present state of being as having become light, with no work of polarity remaining — only the balancing between compassion and wisdom that brings the entity ever closer to the unity with the One Creator that sixth-density beings seek with joy (). Unity is not merely the starting point of the teaching; it is its destination.

The logical argument: infinity requires unity as its definition:
Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to your selves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the creation.
That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity you must identify or define that infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent or meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity.
The simplest statement: unity, its potential, and its kinetic:
There is unity. This unity is all that there is. This unity has a potential and kinetic. The potential is intelligent infinity. Tapping this potential will yield work. This work has been called by us, intelligent energy.
The nature of this work is dependent upon the particular distortion of Free Will which, in turn, is the nature of a particular intelligent energy, or kinetic focus, of the potential of unity, or that which is all.
The first distortion of unity — finity — and why creation began:
The intelligent infinity discerned a concept. This concept was discerned due to freedom of will of awareness. This concept was finity. This was the first and primal paradox or distortion of the Law of One. Thus the one intelligent infinity invested itself in an exploration of many-ness. Due to the infinite possibilities of intelligent infinity, there is no ending to many-ness. The exploration, thus, is free to continue infinitely in an eternal present.
The heart of evolution, from sixth density looking back:
Let us remember that we are all one. This is the great learning/teaching. In this unity lies love. This is a great learn/teaching. In this unity lies light. This is the fundamental teaching of all planes of existence in materialization. Unity, love, light, and joy: this is the heart of evolution of the spirit.
The second-ranking lessons are learn/taught in meditation and in service. At some point the mind/body/spirit complex is so smoothly activated and balanced by these central thoughts or distortions that the techniques you have mentioned become quite significant. However, the universe, its mystery unbroken, is one.
