Ra's term for the service-to-others polarity — sharing the Creator's love while honoring the free will of others.

What Ra means

Ra uses the physical image of the magnet as a starting point: positive and negative are not moral judgments but orientations, just as the poles of a magnet carry no inherent goodness or badness (). The positive polarity may also be understood as radiant — it sends outward rather than draws in (). This quality of radiation is at the heart of what Ra calls positive: an orientation toward sharing rather than accumulating, toward honoring the free will of other-selves rather than bending it.

Because positivity respects free will, it pulls only weakly on other-selves compared to the constant pull of a highly negative social complex (). This is not a defect but a consequence of the path's logic: a positively polarized entity desires for others to exercise their own will freely and does not compel. In a conflict between polarities Ra notes that a balanced, positive view of a negative action can debilitate the strength of that action ().

Harvests across known planetary histories run roughly sixty percent positive and ten percent negative, with most of the remainder being mixed with a near-total positive lean (). The work of positive fourth density is the harmonization of a social memory complex and the aid of less polarized entities seeking their help (); in sixth density, positive and negative paths converge, as the density of unity requires that love/light be extended to all ().

On positivity as radiation versus absorption, and the impossibility of judging either pole:

The negative and positive, with their electrical characteristics, may be seen to be just as in the physical sense.
It is to be noted in this context that it is quite impossible to judge the polarity of an act or an entity, just as it is impossible to judge the relative goodness of the negative and positive poles of the magnet.
Another method of viewing polarities might involve the concept of radiation/absorption. That which is positive is radiant; that which is negative is absorbent.

On the characteristic pull of positive versus negative polarization in social conditions:

Positivity has a much weaker effect due to the strong element of recognition of free will in any positivity approaching purity. Thus, although the negatively oriented entity may find it difficult to polarize negatively in the midst of such resounding harmony, it will not find it impossible.
Upon the other hand, the negative polarization is one which does not accept the concept of the free will of other-selves. Thusly in a social complex whose negativity approaches purity the pull upon other-selves is constant. A positively oriented entity in such a situation would desire for other-selves to have their free will and, thusly, would find itself removed from its ability to exercise its own free will, for the free will of negatively oriented entities is bent upon conquest.
