The original Thought

The Creator's founding intention — the harvest of all Its prior self-experience — generated into the space we perceive as the ground of this creation.

What Ra means

The concept appears only rarely in Ra's exchanges — seven occurrences across the corpus — but what Ra says of it is precise. The Confederation's single most important statement, Ra notes at the very opening of the contact, is that all things, all of life, all of the creation is part of One Original Thought (1.0.8-9). The term names the unity from which all manifested things flow.

In session 82, Ra explains the structure further. The One Original Thought is the accumulated harvest of all previous experience of the Creator by the Creator — what it has learned of Itself through every prior creation. As the Creator decides to know Itself again, It generates Itself into the plenum of space, and each generation of this knowing begets further knowing that, through free will, can choose its own methods of knowing (82.10.2-8). Stars closer to the beginning of the Logos's manifestation partake more purely in this original Thought; those further out partake less purely — by design, so that the refinement of the Thought can continue through the variety that distance introduces (82.9.2-3, 82.10.6-7).

The practical implication for seekers: an entity aligns its energy centers with the Original Thought not by placing them rigidly in some prescribed arrangement but by blending them in a fluid, balanced way that allows intelligent energy to flow through with minimal distortion (54.8.2-5). Contact with the Confederation is, in Ra's picture, largely about conveying the basic information of the Original Thought — and the basic means of obtaining it: meditation and service to others (60.27.5-6).

The Confederation's single statement — the original Thought as the substance of all creation:

The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator has only one important statement. That statement, my friends, as you know, is: “All things, all of life, all of the creation is part of One Original Thought.”

The structure of the Original Thought — its harvest, its generation into space, and its purpose of self-refinement:

This is the plan of the One Infinite Creator. The One Original Thought is the harvest of all previous, if you would use this term, experience of the Creator by the Creator.

As It decides to know Itself, It generates Itself into that plenum, full of the glory and the power of the One Infinite Creator, which is manifested to your perceptions as space or outer space. Each generation of this knowing begets a knowing which has the capacity, through free will, to choose methods of knowing Itself.

Therefore, gradually, step by step, the Creator becomes that which may know Itself, and the portions of the Creator partake less purely in the power of the original word or thought. This is for the purpose of refinement of the One Original Thought. The Creator does not properly create as much as It experiences Itself.

Alignment with the Original Thought: not systematic placement but fluid, balanced blending:

This statement, though correct, bears great potential for being misunderstood. The precision with which each energy center matches the Original Thought lies not in the systematic placement of each energy nexus, but rather in the fluid and plastic placement of the balanced blending of these energy centers in such a way that intelligent energy is able to channel itself with minimal distortion.

The mind/body/spirit complex is not a machine. It is rather what you might call a tone poem.
