An evolved seeker who has balanced the lower energy centers, opened the heart, and works consciously with intelligent infinity to effect change in mind, body, and planetary consciousness.
What Ra means
The adept is a seeker who has crossed a threshold: where a harvest-ready entity taps intelligent energy to sustain its own evolution, the adept taps both intelligent energy and intelligent infinity deliberately, with the aim of transmuting planetary consciousness (). The qualification is not spiritual attainment in general but a specific structural one — the red, orange, yellow, and blue energy centers balanced with at least minimal adequacy, green added for those of positive polarity, with the work then shifting inward from outer function to inner being ().
Both polarities produce adepts, since each shares the same starting Matrix and Potentiator in the archetypal mind (). What diverges them is how each works the catalyst of the spirit — described in the tarot as the Moon, the most influential single force on the adept's polarity. Few adepts, Ra says, succeed in grasping the light of the sun; by far the majority remain groping in the moonlight, a light which can deceive as well as uncover hidden mystery (). One key mark of the adept, available to either path, is increasing freedom from the opinions and expectations of other selves — a quality that can look, from outside, like darkness or transgression ().
The adept's primary instrument is visualization: a visualization held steady to the inward eye for several minutes signals the adept's increase in singleness of thought, which the positive adept then uses in group ritual visualizations for the raising of positive energy (). When the work has matured, the adept touches intelligent infinity from within, and in that contact thoughts are not merely thoughts — they are beings, living channels for love and light that pour directly into the planetary web (). The adept's cycle — an eighteen-day wave — marks periods of greater and lesser readiness for such workings, with the critical crossing days demanding particular care ().

The adept defined by threshold rather than attainment:
The seeker becomes the adept when it has balanced, with minimal adequacy, the energy centers red, orange, yellow, and blue, with the addition of the green for the positive, thus moving into indigo work.
The adept then begins to do less of the preliminary, or outer, work having to do with function, and begins to effect the inner work which has to do with being. As the adept becomes a more and more consciously crystallized entity it gradually manifests more and more of that which it always has been since before time: that is, the One Infinite Creator.
Visualization as the adept's specific tool, distinct from passive meditation:
This is not a simple query, for the adept is one which will go beyond the green ray which signals entry into harvestability. The adept will not simply be tapping into intelligent energy as a means of readiness for harvest, but tapping into both intelligent energy and intelligent infinity for the purpose of transmuting planetary harvestability and consciousness.
The means of this working lie within. The key is first, silence, and secondly, singleness of thought. Thusly a visualization which can be held steady to the inward eye for several of your minutes, as you measure time, will signal the adept’s increase in singleness of thought. This singleness of thought, then, can be used by the positive adept to work in group ritual visualizations for the raising of positive energy, by negative adepts for the increase in personal power.
Freedom from others' judgments as a mark of the adept — recognized, and often misread:
It is also to be noted that an adept is one which has freed itself more and more from the constraints of the thoughts, opinions, and bonds of other-selves. Whether this is done for service to others or service to self, it is a necessary part of the awakening of the adept. This freedom is seen by those not free as what you would call evil or black. The magic is recognized; the nature is often not.

When the positive adept touches intelligent infinity from within, this is the most powerful of connections, for it is the connection of the whole mind/body/spirit complex microcosm with the macrocosm. This connection enables the, shall we say, green-ray true color in time/space to manifest in your time/space. In green ray, thoughts are beings. In your illusion this is normally not so.
The adepts then become living channels for love and light and are able to channel this radiance directly into the planetary web of energy nexi. The ritual will always end by the grounding of this energy in praise and thanksgiving and the release of this energy into the planetary whole.
