Mixed contact

Metaphysical contact that is neither purely positive nor purely negative, but blends Confederation and Orion influence.

What Ra means

A mixed contact arises when the tuning of the channel, the group, or those drawn together is itself divided in orientation. Ra points to humanity's learning of nuclear energy as a concrete case: the entities responsible for gathering the scientists were of mixed orientation, the scientists themselves overwhelmingly positive, and those who followed their work of mixed orientation, including one extremely negative entity (11.23).

The historical example Ra develops most fully is the entity or group known as Yahweh. Yahweh was of the Confederation but mistaken in its methods, using genetic and psychic manipulation to try to counter the Orion group's influence (18.22, 18.23). Where the resulting population was oriented toward oneness, the intervention proved useful; where individuals had freely chosen a less positively oriented configuration, the Orion group was able for the first time to make serious inroads on the planetary consciousness (18.24). Good intent, imperfect method, and a receptive population of mixed orientation produced a mixed result.

Ra's posture toward mixed contacts is neither to dismiss nor to validate them wholesale. Asked about a specific modern contact, Ra declined to confirm it as pure Confederation contact but acknowledged some positive material in the transcript, grounding this in the observation that all communication is of the One Infinite Creator in its infinite distortions (100.4). Mixed does not mean worthless; it means purity is a matter of tuning, and the seeker must bring their own discernment.

The mixed orientation of those responsible for gathering nuclear scientists:

I am Ra. This is correct. The entities responsible for the gathering of the scientists were of a mixed orientation. The scientists were overwhelmingly positive in their orientation. The scientists who followed their work were of mixed orientation including one extremely negative entity, as you would term it.

The Yahweh interaction and its divided results:

I am Ra. The results of this interaction were quite mixed. Where the entities were of a vibrational sum characteristic which embraced oneness, the manipulations of Yahweh were very useful. Wherein the entities of free will had chosen a less positively oriented configuration of sum total vibratory complex, those of the Orion group were able, for the first time, to make serious inroads upon the consciousness of the planetary complex.

Ra's measured view of a modern contact that could not be confirmed as pure Confederation:

It is not our practice to judge the value of a contact of metaphysical origin. We cannot confirm the contact referred to by the questioner as pure Confederation contact. However, we might suggest that there is some positive material within the recorded transcript of converse during this contact. As we have spoken previously to the various characteristics of so-called mixed contact, we shall not repeat but note that all communication is of the One Infinite Creator in its infinite distortions.
