# Wanderer *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/wanderer* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *A being of a higher density who chooses to incarnate in third density to be of service, accepting the hazard of the forgetting.* ## What Ra means Wanderers are fourth-, fifth-, or sixth-density entities who voluntarily enter third-density incarnation. The largest number come from sixth density, Ra notes, because reaching the necessary purity of the desire to serve requires what might be called bravery or even foolhardiness (12.28). Most are positively oriented; fifth-density negative wanderers are very rare because entities at that density fear the forgetting (48.6). The aim Ra describes for wanderers is twofold and general rather than specific: to serve entities of the planet in whatever way is requested, and to lighten the planetary vibration as a whole by the presence of their love and light (65.11). Each wanderer also brings pre-incarnative talents of its own: those of fifth density have great abilities to express wisdom, while fourth- and sixth-density wanderers serve as immense passive radiators of love and love/light — a third function unique to each individual, beyond doubling planetary love and serving as beacon or shepherd (65.12). Specific pre-planned outcomes are not the aim; light and love follow calling rather than agenda (65.11). The hazard is real. Once incarnate, the wanderer is subject to all the conditions of third density in mind and body, with only the spirit retaining a kind of armor — an inclination toward recognition of what is not in accord with its deeper nature (16.59). Should the wanderer penetrate the forgetting, the intensive catalyst of third density polarizes it with far greater efficiency than the more harmonious conditions of its home density, so its own evolution also accelerates (36.17). Failure to penetrate the forgetting means risking karmic involvement and being drawn into the very confusion the wanderer came to help resolve (12.28). ## In Ra's words On the voluntary choice and its double benefit — service to the planet and acceleration of the wanderer's own evolution: > The wanderer has the potential of greatly accelerating the density whence it comes in its progress in evolution.
