# Time/space *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/time-space* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *The metaphysical, immaterial complement of space/time — the realm entered at death, where an entity reviews and heals between lives.* ## What Ra means Where space/time is dominated by space — fixed positions, tangible matter — time/space reverses the balance. The hallmark of time/space is the inequity on the side of time: entities and experiences become intangible, movement approaches supraluminal velocities, and the whole terrain is fluid in a way that space/time is not (71.6). It is the immaterial half of the paired framework Ra uses to describe reality. Its primary role in the incarnation cycle is as the between-lives realm. After death the entity moves into time/space and is placed, by the form-maker body and Higher Self, in a configuration appropriate for reviewing what was received during the prior incarnation. The process involves seeing the experience fully, measuring it against the entity's total history, forgiving the self for missed opportunities, and then deciding — with the Higher Self — what comes next (71.6). Ra emphasizes that time/space is not homogenous: it has its own complex structure of natural laws, no less organized than space/time (70.17). Time/space also intersects with space/time in other ways. Dreaming occurs partly in time/space, using the bridge between the two realms for healing (86.15). Certain physical constructs — including the instruments Ra describes as having both an immaterial and a materialized construct — straddle the boundary (70.19). And Ra's ability to communicate across the sessions depends on moving through that boundary in precisely calibrated ways. ## In Ra's words The hallmark of time/space — the inequity of time over space, and its rendering of experience as intangible: > Although this query is difficult to answer adequately due to the limitations of your space/time sound vibration complexes, we shall respond to the best of our ability. > > The hallmark of time/space is the inequity between time and space.
