# Sub-Logos *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/sub-logos* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *A creative principle subordinate to a galactic Logos — typically a sun — using its parent Logos's intelligent energy to set the specific conditions of its own system.* ## What Ra means Within a galaxy shaped by a Logos, each solar body functions as a sub-Logos: a creative principle that differentiates some experiential components within the patterns set by the larger Logos, without removing or adding to those foundational ways (29.2.2-3, 28.20.2). The planets of a solar system are all part of the same galactic Logos but are slightly and specifically different due to the presence of this sub-Logos (29.4.2-3). The hierarchy is therefore not a single broadcast but a cascade of nested creative intelligences, each working within the limits of the one above while exercising real free will within those limits. The sub-Logos's chief role toward incarnating entities is to provide foundational catalyst. It supplies catalyst at the lower energy levels — the first triad of centers concerned with survival of the physical complex — and can offer only a basic skeleton of that catalyst. The higher energy centers gain catalyst from the biases of the maturing mind/body/spirit complex itself, not directly from the sub-Logos. As an entity develops, the connection thins further, until all catalyst is chosen, generated, and manufactured by the self (54.17.3-9). The sun-sub-Logos that structures the physical environment is thus most important to the early stages of growth; its influence wanes as the entity's own creative power grows. Below the sun, the sub-sub-Logos resides not in dimensionalities but only in co-Creators — individual mind/body/spirit complexes — each of whom is themselves a creative principle within the hierarchy (54.5.2). The white light emanating from the sub-Logos is the raw substance of its creation; Ra pictures it as being prismatically separated into the seven rays, and at the end of an octave being absorbed back into the One Creator (40.1.3-9). The sub-Logos is thus both a parent of the physical world's structure and, ultimately, one more portion of the Creator returning to itself. ## In Ra's words Ra states that the sub-Logos differentiates experience within, not beyond, the Logos's design: > This is incorrect.
