# Sexuality *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/sexuality* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *Sexual activity as a vehicle of energy transfer between mind/body/spirit complexes — a potent catalyst that can polarize toward either service depending on the ray at which it is engaged.* ## What Ra means Ra frames sexuality as energy exchange first and biology second. The ray at which two entities meet determines what passes between them: red-ray transfer is random, concerned only with the reproductive system; orange- and yellow-ray activity, where one entity treats the other as object or occasion for power, creates blockage that produces an insatiable appetite — because what those levels are actually seeking is green-ray sharing, where both see the other as the Creator (26.38). Green ray is the threshold of genuine transfer, where the exchange strengthens both beings rather than depleting or distorting them. The distortions of orange and yellow ray in the sexual sphere are not a modern accident. Ra identifies bellicosity and the desire for ownership as root orientations that filter down through the tree of mind into body complex expressions, with sexual energy blockage as a downstream consequence (31.15). Entities who experience gratification from domination, whether through coercion or control, exemplify this blockage: the pattern is sexual in its nature because the energy being misused is the same energy that, rightly engaged, would polarize the entity toward greater openness (31.14). Before the veil, sexual energy transfers were nearly always green ray — but also nearly always weak, because without the veil's shadow of mystery there was little catalyst for bonding or for the intensity that drives higher transfer (83.3). After the veil, achieving green-ray transfer became far more difficult, but when it was achieved it was more likely to produce genuine bonding and to open the pair toward higher energy transfers — blue, indigo, even a sacramental indigo-ray contact with intelligent infinity (86.20). The veil made this domain more dangerous and more powerful at the same time. ## In Ra's words The spectrum of sexual energy transfer from red through green ray: > Due to the specificity of the question we may give general answer. > > The first energy transfer is red ray. Firstly, if both vibrate in third ray, there will be a mutually strengthening energy transfer.
