# Positive *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/positive* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *Ra's term for the service-to-others polarity — sharing the Creator's love while honoring the free will of others.* ## What Ra means Ra uses the physical image of the magnet as a starting point: positive and negative are not moral judgments but orientations, just as the poles of a magnet carry no inherent goodness or badness (93.3). The positive polarity may also be understood as *radiant* — it sends outward rather than draws in (93.3). This quality of radiation is at the heart of what Ra calls positive: an orientation toward sharing rather than accumulating, toward honoring the free will of other-selves rather than bending it. Because positivity respects free will, it pulls only weakly on other-selves compared to the constant pull of a highly negative social complex (71.14). This is not a defect but a consequence of the path's logic: a positively polarized entity desires for others to exercise their own will freely and does not compel. In a conflict between polarities Ra notes that a balanced, positive view of a negative action can debilitate the strength of that action (67.3). Harvests across known planetary histories run roughly sixty percent positive and ten percent negative, with most of the remainder being mixed with a near-total positive lean (65.13).
