# Negative *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/negative* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *Ra's term for the service-to-self polarity, founded on separation and power over other-selves.* ## What Ra means Negative polarity — like its positive counterpart — is understood by Ra as one pole of a fundamental cosmic structure, not as moral evil (93.3). The negative entity does not accept the concept of free will in other-selves, and in a social complex approaching purity in its negativity, the pull on surrounding entities is constant because the free will of negatively oriented entities is directed entirely toward conquest (71.14). This is the absorptive quality Ra attributes to the negative pole: it draws in rather than radiates outward (93.3). Negative polarization is achieved primarily through subjugation — the entity that enslaves or commands another gains in polarity, while the one compelled to serve loses it but often gains in the desire for further negative polarization (55.3). In fourth density, this process plays out as a sustained struggle for dominance before any social memory complex can form, with each entity working to establish its position in a power hierarchy (38.14). In fifth density negative, the self has compacted intensely around wisdom without love, and fourth-density entities become willing servants of fifth-density masters (87.7). The path reaches a natural terminus in sixth density. Ra describes the sixth as the density of unity: positive and negative must at this point extend love/light to all other-selves, which the negative path finds exceedingly difficult, and at some point the negative polarity is released (78.25). In this sense the negative path is genuinely available across several densities but is not a permanent orientation; its structural reliance on separation ultimately cannot be sustained when unity becomes the lesson. ## In Ra's words On the mechanics of negative polarization through subjugation: > The negative polarization is greatly aided by the subjugation or enslavement of other-selves.
