# Intelligent energy *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/intelligent-energy* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *The kinetic aspect of unity — the work produced when intelligent infinity (the potential) is tapped, its particular character shaped by a distortion of free will.* ## What Ra means Ra draws the distinction between intelligent infinity and intelligent energy in terms of potential and kinetic. There is unity; that unity has both aspects. The potential is intelligent infinity — undifferentiated, without distortion. Tapping that potential yields work, and that work is what Ra calls intelligent energy (27.5.5-9). Its particular character at any given scale is determined by the specific distortion of free will that focuses it — so the intelligent energy of this Logos differs from that of another because of the choices made when free will first gave form to the creation. A Logos uses intelligent energy to lay out the structure of its creation — setting the paths that promote the lessons of each density, given the conditions of the planetary spheres and sun bodies (19.12.3-5). Below the Logos, the sub-Logoi (the individual sun bodies) take that energy and use their own free will to co-create the nuances of the densities experienced by the beings within them (41.4.5-6). Intelligent energy is thus both the medium through which the Logos designs the creation and the substance through which sub-Logoi express their particular natures. At the scale of the planetary cycles, Ra describes intelligent energy as the clockwork of evolution: the timing of the cycles is a measurement equal to a portion of intelligent energy, and the gateway from intelligent energy to intelligent infinity opens on that clock regardless of circumstance (9.4.7-10). Even the great harvest is not determined by readiness alone; the hour strikes, and the gateway opens. ## In Ra's words Potential, kinetic, and the work of intelligent energy defined simply: > This unity has a potential and kinetic.
