# Energy centers *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/energy-centers* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *Seven rotating centers in the mind/body/spirit complex — one for each color ray — that open, block, and crystallize as the entity meets and works with catalyst.* ## What Ra means The energy body contains seven primary centers arranged from the base of the physical vehicle upward: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Each center corresponds to a color ray and a domain of experience. Their activity is not fixed; each has a wide range of rotational speed that grows as the will concentrates upon and purifies it (41.19). In a developed entity, each center takes on a distinctive crystalline structure — the red a spoked wheel, the green a lotus, the blue capable of a hundred facets, the violet a thousand-petaled form that sums the whole entity (51.8). The centers do not need to activate in strict order, and an entity can have brilliantly active lower centers while remaining unbalanced overall. What matters at harvest is not raw brilliance but the harmonious balance of the whole, expressed in the violet-ray reading. An entity whose lower centers blaze but whose totality is unbalanced will not be capable of sustaining the love and light of intelligent infinity to the extent necessary for harvest (41.19). Full activation of every center is the mastery of few; once the necessary centers are minimally activated, the important observation is the harmony and balance between them (40.4). Energy flows into the body from the south pole, drawn upward by the lower negative pole to meet the inpouring of intelligent infinity descending from within. Where these two streams meet is the measure of the entity's present locus of activity. As an entity grows in polarity, that locus rises (49.5). ## In Ra's words The crystalline structure each center takes on as it develops: > Each of the energy centers of the physical complex may be seen to have a distinctive crystalline structure in the more developed entity. The more strongly the will of the entity concentrates upon and refines, or purifies, each energy center, the more brilliant, or rotationally active, each energy center will be. It is not necessary for the energy centers to be activated in order in the case of the self-aware entity.
