# Creation *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/creation* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *The whole of manifestation as a single living, conscious being — one infinite Creator knowing Itself, brought into form through the Logos and its sub-Logoi.* ## What Ra means For Ra the creation is not a backdrop to events but a being in its own right. The creation is a unified form of consciousness, with the Logos as its one great heart (82.12.4-5). What looks like dead matter and empty space is, at every level, the one Creator experiencing Itself. Ra pictures it as one infinite being whose heart beats in intelligent energy — and what we experience as one creation is simply one beat of that heart among many (19.1.3-4). The creation is also cyclical. It is not permanent but breathes: when all of it in its infinity reaches a spiritual gravitational mass of sufficient nature, the entire creation coalesces, light seeks its source, and a new creation begins — much as Ra compares it to a black hole, with conditions of infinitely great mass at the zero point from which no light may be seen (29.18.3). Within any given creation, the design descends through a hierarchy: intelligent infinity, then the Logos (which Ra pictures as a galaxy-scale creative principle), then the many sub-Logoi — the suns — each using free will to co-create the nuances of the densities experienced by the beings within them (41.4.4-6). What makes this hierarchy possible is that free will acts as catalyst at every level. Beings begin to form universes; consciousness then has the potential to experience; and the potentials of experience are fixed before experience begins, though free will acting infinitely upon the creation produces great variation in how those potentials are met (28.13.4-8). The creation is not imposed from outside but continuously co-created from within, by every portion of the One exploring what the One can know of Itself. ## In Ra's words The creation as unified consciousness — the Logos as its heart: > A very great deal of creation was manifested without the use of the concepts involved in consciousness, as you know it.
