# Contact *Canonical page: https://ra.contact/concepts/contact* *Last updated: 2026-06-25* *Communication of metaphysical origin between densities — Confederation (positive), Orion (negative), or mixed, depending on the tuning and intent of those involved.* ## What Ra means Contact is the response to a calling and is governed at every stage by free will. A positive contact answers a call: Ra opens the first session by saying it had watched the group, had been called to it, and sends a narrow-band vibration requiring an instrument precisely tuned (1.0). That narrow band demands careful preparation and protection from the support group; any lapse in it is an opening for interference from the opposite polarity. Positive and negative contacts use the same channel but serve opposite ends. The Confederation disseminates the Law of One through thought and impression; the Orion group uses the same telepathic medium to propagate its philosophy of control and service to self (12.13). The difference lies in the nature and tuning of those who call, and in the intent and polarity of those who answer. A Confederation contact comes through mutual offering — both caller and contact filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve — not through command or demand (55.7). Ra is also candid that no contact is guaranteed to be pure. When asked about a specific case, Ra declined to confirm it as a Confederation contact of any purity, noting there was some positive material present, while observing that all communication is of the One Infinite Creator in its infinite distortions (100.4). The quality of contact is a matter of tuning, not of the contact's claimed identity. ## In Ra's words The first session: Ra describes what was required to reach this instrument: > I have not spoken through this instrument before.
